Grupa is a lighting and furniture design studio based in Croatia. The prize-winning brand took things one step further in 2012 by shaping, manufacturing, and distributing its own products.
One thing was clear to the three owners, Filip Despot, Ivana Pavic, and Tihana Taraba: they wanted to be there from start to finish. From the moment the idea arose and was immortalized on the drawing board, right up to when the final product was delivered to their clients. Their involvement throughout the process makes Grupa Products a brand that believes in its products. Some of Grupa's most popular products include the Arigato series and the recently released Igram.

Grupa Model is essentially a replication of a playful sketch in space, yet, in a way it was born out of consideration of the very material and an extreme reduction of elements from which a given object is made. Free from complications and with a “not yet finished” look, Model is a unique floor lamp.
The final design is left to the customer and it depends on the choices provided by Grupa. To finish a Model, one has to choose from three different sets of steel frames in a black or white finish and various possibilities in the colour of the textile cord. The fact that the intensity of light is controlled only by the choice of bulbs means Model is free, not only from complications, but it is free, period. Model comes with a lightbulb selected by Grupa, however, everyone is free to experiment.
Other configurations of Grupa's Model include Model 1 and Model 2.
