GEAR by Northern - A lamp made for the fast lane

the Northern Gear Floor Lamp is designed with rotating gears and revving with style, these high-performance lamps were made for the fast lane. Like changing gears in a car, the positions of the shades are changed manually by adjusting a lever. Gears inside the base lock into place with each adjustment of the shades.

This light from Northern is an unique light piece, featuring a previously unseen design that uses gears for adjustment, the rest of the design is also interesting, sharp, uncurved lines that almost make the Gear Floor Lamp from Northern look "low poly" or as it is rendering.

The Gear floor lamp from Northern extends dramatically forward to position its shade overhead, while the table lamps with singular or double shades illuminate the surfaces around them. All three versions are crafted in aluminium and steel, giving the lamps crisp outlines and an industrial look. Coloured in matt black, the lamps provide a potent contrast to light-coloured backgrounds, or create a compelling focal point within any interior.
