Über Carpyen
Die Marke symbolisiert Barcelona selbst, wie Carpyen es selbst beschreibt: „Wir kommen aus Barcelona, einer Stadt des Lichts; wir wurden hier geboren und sind hier aufgewachsen. Wir stellen weiterhin alle unsere Produkte vor Ort her, wir sind inspiriert.“ von einer lebendigen, originellen und kosmopolitischen Stadt mit einem mediterranen blauen Horizont, Tausenden von Räumen zum Entdecken und Tausenden von Geschichten zum Erzählen. Wir sind stolz darauf, der Welt zu zeigen, dass Carpyen „MADE IN BARCELONA“ ein starkes Image und unerschöpfliche kreative Ressourcen hat ." Vor allem ist es ein menschliches Abenteuer. Carpyen wurde 1954 offiziell von Antonio Carpintero und Encarnación Celdrán in Barcelona, Spanien, gegründet. Wie der Name schon sagt, wurde der Markenname von den Namen der beiden Gründer Carpintero und Encarnación abgeleitet: Carp y (and) En.
Roberto Carpintero trat 1972 in das Unternehmen ein, begleitet von den zeitgenössischen Industriedesignern Pascual Salvador und Gabriel Teixido. Ihrer ersten Kreation, der Galilea , gaben den Ton für Carpyens zukünftige Designphilosophie vor: elegante Beleuchtung im Industriestil, die sowohl praktisch als auch einladend ist, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Einfachheit und Benutzerfreundlichkeit liegt.
Neben den firmeneigenen Firmen Pascual Salvador und Gabriel Teixido Sabater hat Carpyen mit vielen weltbekannten Designern an ihren Produktkollektionen zusammengearbeitet.
Einige davon umfassen Nathrang Studio (Erfinder des Boop! und Mei Kollektionen), Jordi Veciana (Designer von alabast), der Schöpfer von Neil Kollektion Xavier Solé neben vielen anderen großen Köpfen.
