TR22 from Tom Rossau - the organic lamp

Designed by the famous danish lighting designer Tom Rossau, the shape of the TR22 was inspired by the organic twist of the birch ribbons in the TR7 with a similar silhouette. Tom wanted to create a sculptural pendant with a large opening at the base.

The TR22 is from Tom Rossau available in two materials, coated paper and birch veneer.

The materials of the shade have different expressions and degrees of illumination. The white shade provides an even, general light in a pleasant white tone, whereas the birch veneer’s effect is warm, for a more mellow atmosphere. As the name suggests, TR represents the initials of Tom Rossau.

Each lamp is carefully handcrafted with appreciation for the natural characteristics of the selected materials, and the result is a stunning form of light. The Tom Rossau TR22 completes the contemporary atmosphere of any interior.

The TR22 is ideal over the dining table, and will provide good, functional lighting. It is possible to have a diffusion screen placed in the base of the TR22, an option for higher placements to prevent a direct view of the bulb.
