Schwung Odyssey SM Wall Light - where classic meets the contemporary

The Odyssey SM sconce by Schwung Home is a modern wall light handmade from polished, patinated brass protected with clear varnish. Serenely emitting light, while projecting its form. The distinctive Odyssey globe is reflected in this fixture by a rounded brass wall plate, spreading a diffuse glow.

The Odyssey SM by Schwung is available in 3 finishes: lacquered burnishing Brass, Black gunmetal and polished Nickel.

Schwung's Odyssey wall lamp is also available in medium and large variants.

All Schwung home lighting products are made to order in their state of the art manufacturing facility that combines both centuries old glass making techniques and modern technology.

Schwung has many other configurations of the Odyssey available: Floor Lamp, Table Lamp, Pendant Light and Wall Light.

Since 2014, Schwung has caused a sensation not only in its home country but also among international designers with its timeless and unusual designs. The two young designers and founders of Schwung, Dominique Sente from Belgium and Rudi Nijssen from the Netherlands, say that they create "forms influenced by our passion, which seek and find a balance between technical and aesthetic solutions". Schwung lamps are handmade in Europe, the lights are made of solid brass. The glass spheres are made of very high-quality hand-blown borosilicate glass, thin and light like soap bubbles, but resistant and strong like laboratory glass. This extraordinary glass, also called Jena glass in this country, ensures both a stylish presence in a classically modern ambience and pleasant room lighting. Most of the swing lighting is compatible with dimmers and comes with extension rods so that it can be adapted to different room

The lights are fine and as described on the website.
However the customer experience with Luminesy was pretty poor: I received the items 2 months after I passed the order whereas the lights were advertised in Luminesy’s website as available to be shipped under 48h. Besides, I had to chase them many many times to get updates, and had to reach out to their instagram account as they were not responding on email or phone. At one point I thought I had been scammed.
Finally they refused to do any commercial gesture to make up for the poor overall experience and delivery delay, allegedly because the items I bought were discounted.
So satisfied with the lights , dissatisfied with Luminesy.
