Speers by B.Lux appeals as a floor lamp with two arms, each individually adjustable. Both light heads are covered with brass or copper inside, and are rotatable, which enables to flexibly adjust luminous points. Speers is ideal as a reading light, able to meet every lighting need. The table lamp Speers's double light stem rests on a circular base and has a filigreed appearance. The dainty light heads are equipped with integrated LED lamps and glass lenses, magnifying the lighting efficiency. There is a double switch on the cable.
Meet the designer
David Abad
David Abad, a Barcelona-born designer (1967), has made significant contributions to lighting design. From 1997 to 2011, he led DAB, his first business venture focused on designing and producing lamps and specialized lighting projects. In 2012, Abad launched his new studio, David Abad Design, through which he expanded his reach by collaborating with companies across various industries. A key partnership in his career has been with the lighting manufacturer B.lux, where he eventually assumed the role of creative director. This collaboration allowed him to infuse the brand with his distinctive lighting designs, both from his previous portfolio and innovative new creations. Abad’s work is marked by a blend of functionality and refined aesthetics, making him a prominent figure in contemporary lighting design. His contributions to B.lux reflect his commitment to advancing lighting solutions that enhance both form and function.
