Each lamp arm and lampshade can turn and twist in different directions, emphasising a unique and sculptural illumination of the room.Sahn, the Japanese word for three, is characterised by the use of three different lampshades, some of which has become synonymous with classic 101 Copenhagen lighting design. Each of the three lampshades offers a different light experience, adding a rich and playful feature to the lamp.

Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl
Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl began their creative partnership in 2015, blending Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian design principles. Hansen, trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the Kyoto Institute of Technology, brings a refined understanding of traditional design practices, complemented by innovative production techniques. Hyldahl, with extensive experience and a deep appreciation for Asian aesthetics, contributes a unique perspective that enhances their work’s sense of harmony and clarity. Together, they have created notable pieces that reflect a balance between clean lines, functional elegance, and timeless forms. Inspired by mid-century design and modernist icons, their collaborations result in furniture and lighting that resonate with both Eastern and Western aesthetics, merging simplicity with warmth in each piece. Their designs are characterized by a subtle elegance, emphasizing craftsmanship and a seamless fusion of cultural influences.
