Make a Statement with the Cymbal M Pendant Light from Forestier
Used as a shield, cymbals first appeared in Ancient Greece. The musical origin of the percussion instrument comes from hitting its shield with its weapon to frighten the enemy and encourage each other for war. The Cymbal suspension is directly inspired by this musical instrument.
Thanks to the materials used, Cymbal brings a real Japanese touch to your interior. The shade is made of velvet for the upper part and fabric for the lower part. This material effect makes it possible to clearly distinguish the two cymbals symbolized by the pendant lamp. The diffuser thus spreads a filtered light, reinforcing the lightness of the luminaire. Cymbal exists in 50cm diameter, 70cm or 95cm and in various colours: green, atlantic blue, midnite blue, powder pink, natural, gold or bronze.
This model measures here 70cm in diameter by 24cm high. The textile cable is 220cm long and connected directly to a wooden part on the lampshade. The light source is not included. We recommend the use of three E27, 60W LED light bulbs.

Jette Scheib
Jette Scheib draws inspiration from the world around her—nature’s shapes, organic forms, and human interactions all fuel her creative process. As a keen observer, she closely examines objects, people, and the connections they create, using her intuition to envision functional objects with unique personalities. Her designs are crafted to bring a sense of well-being to their surroundings. After establishing her own studio in Germany, Scheib graduated in industrial design from the University of Arts in Berlin and later moved to Barcelona, where she continues her creative journey. Today, she collaborates with international brands specializing in home accessories and lighting, developing products that blend functionality with character and warmth. Her work is a celebration of organic forms and intuitive design, aimed at enriching everyday environments with pieces that resonate on a personal level.
