Inspired by the Italian verb "stare" - a nod to its motionless structure - the Stant pendant light from Karman lamp is an exercise in linear profiles echoing early 20th-century engineering designs. Karman's inspiration is confirmed by the pins, deliberately left exposed along the varnished bar where luminous globes fashioned of frosted glass are juxtaposed to cylindrical spotlights to simultaneously provide focused and ambient light.
The STANT 5 Pendant Light from Karman is a raw, purely utilitarian light that illuminates the spaces it resides in in a optimal, well thought-out way, it's a no-nonsense lamp from Karman that has everything it needs and nothing else. By being such an utilitarian design, it also becomes minimalist, not by it's sterile design, but by not being excessive.
